Kengan Ashura Anime PV, Cast and Details

Kengan Ashura will be making way to our screens later as confirmed by Netflix. The official website for the anime confirmed that MY FIRST STORY would be performing the opening theme song titled, “King & Ashley.” The band has also performed songs for shoes such as Golden Kamuy and Nobunaga Concerto.The anime is a global Netflix exclusivity. The Japanese premiere for the show is on July. The manga had won a voting contest held back in 2015 to receive the adaptation.

Kishi Seiji (who has worked in Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Danganronpa The Animation, Tsuki ga Kirei, Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru and other great works) is directing the anime at Larx Entertainment. Uezu Makoto (Akame ga KILL!, Arslan Senki) will take charge of the series composition. The character designs are handled by Morita Kazuaki (Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Tsuki ga Kirei). The music is being composed by Team-MAX’s Takanashi Yasuharu (Fairy Tail, Naruto Shippuuden).

The original manga is written by Sandrovich Yabako with Daromeon’s illustrations. It was running from April 18, 2012 to August 16, 2018 in the Ura Sunday magazine.
